a native of Burgin, Kentucky, is a conceptual artist currently living and working in Albany, Georgia. She received a BFA in Illustration and an MFA in Painting, both from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Lear-Perkins is currently an Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Albany State University. Lear-Perkins’ personal work comments on current social and cultural situations. Working in series her work addresses a variety of issues including our digital world, privacy, prejudice,and disconnection.
